Product Details
FeMo is an iron alloy composed of molybdenum and iron, generally containing 50% to 60% of molybdenum, and is used as an alloy additive in steelmaking. Ferromolybdenum is an alloy of molybdenum and iron. Its main use is as an additive to molybdenum in steelmaking. The addition of molybdenum to the steel can make the steel have a uniform fine-grained structure, improve the hardenability of the steel, and help to eliminate temper brittleness, as well as alloys with special physical properties. The addition of molybdenum to cast iron increases its strength and wear resistance.
